Birmingham Radio Host Cheeky Daz presents an upbeat Saturday show on local station, 89.1FM Big City Radio, with new listeners across the globe now re-tuning their radios.

Darren uses his warmth, cheeky charm, and genuine love of people to engage with listeners of all ages, and he has the natural ability to turn creative ideas into reality.

Gloria Gaynor, Britt Ekland, Marco Pierre White, Hayley Westenra, Marty Wilde and Freddie Starr are just some of the guests who have appeared on Darren's show.

As well as well-known names, Darren is always on the lookout for new talent, and he recently interviewed VIDA (JLS Support Act) and Shockolady (Steps / Jedward Support Act), as well as stumbling across Gemma Mewse, a unique singer with an amazing personality.

Michael Barrymore, a close friend to Darren, co-hosted an exclusive show with him a few months ago. Since then, Glamour model Danni King, Actress Olley Edwards, Singer Gemma Mewse and Cheryl Cole look-a-like Halima Moin have co-hosted other shows with him. There’s now a very long waiting list!

When Darren is not broadcasting, he enjoys organising, and hosting charity shows - raising more than £50,000 for many worthy causes.  He has also produced and co-ordinated a charity single with comedian Joe Pasquale, which was distributed under the Universal Music label.

And, thanks to his loyal listeners, he has been to Australia and has recently been invited to USA, and the Netherlands. 

Darren has also been a judge for Miss Spirit of True Beauty 2012 at the Bedworth Civic Hall, Coventry, and also turned on the Christmas light in Perry Barr (2011).
